Julie Weiss

With 30+ years’ experience in nursing, Ms. Weiss brings a diverse background to Claro Healthcare as a Senior Vice President for the CDI Insight program.  Ms. Weiss provides a unique role in the future of CDI by integrating her extensive nursing and healthcare team collaboration skills by establishing, maintaining and reinvigorating programs as inevitable changes emerge in the industry.

• Ms. Weiss is an accomplished, analytical and knowledgeable Nursing Professional with a proven record of leadership and management in a variety of healthcare settings. She is a highly effective team leader, mentor and presenter working in the Clinical Documentation Improvement sector since 2009. 
• Expert advisor to clients, delivering training, continuing education and client management as well as other scopes identified by client business needs. Adept at engaging with all levels of the organization. Leads implementations and monitors the client’s Clinical Documentation Improvement program with a focus on clinical and technical components based on proven CDI methodologies.

Professional Background

• Ms. Weiss holds a nursing degree from the University of St. Catherine in Minneapolis. She holds multiple certifications including: AAPC Certified Risk Adjustment Coder; AHIMA Certified Coding Specialist; and ACDIS Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist.  She was also an invited speaker at the ACDIS National Conference 2019.
