Tim Marshall

Tim is a Managing Director in our Chicago office and is one of the leaders of the CDI practice. His experience includes assisting over 150 hospitals improve their operational and financial performance. Over the last 20 years, Tim has worked with some of the largest academic medical centers in the country, large health systems, and many community based hospitals. His recent clients have included five of the US News & World Report Top 10 Hospitals.

Tim’s CDI experience includes working with clients to enhance or expand their CDI programs across the care continuum including inpatient, all outpatient facility encounters and professional fee claims. He has also assisted clients with care coordination and quality initiatives, clinical documentation improvement projects, and various cost reduction initiatives. He has provided extensive consulting to one of the largest healthcare GPOs, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and an orthopedic device manufacturer.

Tim holds an MBA in finance and strategy from University of Chicago and a B.S. in accounting from Indiana University.
